PSU Extension Pasture Walk: Daniel Glick Farm

Thursday, August 6, 2026, 9:30 am until 12:00 pm
306 Haiti Rd., Quarryville, Pennsylvania 17566

Join Penn State Extension dairy, livestock, equine, and agronomy educators for an engaging, hands-on pasture walk designed to help producers improve pasture quality and grazing outcomes. Participants will explore key topics including soil testing, pasture evaluation, rotational grazing, species selection, and effective pasture management practices. This statewide series will be hosted on multiple farms across Pennsylvania, offering real-world insights tailored to diverse operations. While the featured location is a dairy farm, the principles shared are broadly applicable to all grazing species.

An optional lunch will be provided after the program. The first ten people to register for each location may bring a forage sample and will receive one free forage analysis with registration; participants will be contacted with additional details.

This event is being offered at no charge to participants. Register here: extension.psu.edu/pasturewalkswithextension or call:877-345-0691. Registering before the event is encouraged and appreciated! Registration deadline: August 4, 2026.
