We are so excited to be "Breaking Bread" with the AMAZING Konda Mason, Founder and President of Jubilee Justice, Inc.
Konda is a social entrepreneur, earth and social justice activist, finance activist, farmer and mindfulness teacher. Jubilee Justice is a nonprofit working to bring climate resilient farming and economic equity to Black farmers in the rural South in order to create thriving Black farming communities and shared prosperity via cooperative economics. Jubilee Justice also convenes transformational learning journeys across race and class exploring conversations at the intersection of Land, Race, Money & Spirit.
Breaking Bread is Farm Aid's VIRTUAL 'Lunch n Learn' series, featuring leaders, friends, colleagues and comrades sharing stories that uplift the shared history of food and farming, organizing and resistance. We pair that history with work that folks are doing presently, to inform the future we want for each other as it relates to farming and agriculture, food, culture and rural communities. This storytelling and making our narratives public is a key and critical part of community organizing and movement building. Join us online, the last Thursday of each month...Welcome yall!
