Join NOC for the Fall 2021 Pre-NOSB Meeting [Virtual]
The National Organic Coalition (NOC) is excited to convene another virtual Pre-NOSB meeting this fall. We hope you will join us! This is a chance for the organic community to come together in advance of the National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) meeting to discuss policy issues, NOSB proposals, and the future of organic.
On Tuesday, October 5, NOC will convene a farmer panel with producers who have recently transitioned to organic to discuss challenges and opportunities. NOC will also share DC organic policy updates and a National Organic Standards Board update.
On Wednesday, October 6, NOC will convene a discussion focused on the future of organic. USDA must reform the National Organic Program and their work, more broadly, to support organic agriculture to achieve the true public-private partnership envisioned by the Organic Foods Production Act (OFPA). This session will provide an opportunity to discuss NOC’s proposals to elevate the role of the NOSB and increase support for organic agriculture at USDA.
