Added January 25, 2010. Due to health issues, one of our Vermont organic dairy farmers needs to retire from dairy farming and is interested in selling their operation. A quota for 4 million pounds of milk per year is in place and transferable to the buyer pending approval of the farm plan by the COOP. This farm has been a very active NODPA member and a wonderful support to many producers wanting to learn more about grass-based farming and organic production. NODPA has offered to help this farm family in their transition out of farming by posting a flyer about the farm on our website.
